ABSTRACTS – Eunmi Conacher

April 1 – 30, 2016

DALES GALLERY is proud to exhibit ABSTRACTS by Eunmi Conacher April 1-30

Artist’s Statement
My paintings bring the energy, represented by urban landscapes, to the canvas. I attempt to capture life in urban environments, as seen through my eyes. My work is more an expression of the mood in the scene, rather than a realistic picture of the scene. I use depth of colour to balance realism and abstract.

In her painting, she attempts to capture life in many environments as seen through her eyes. Her work is more an expression of the mood in the scene rather than a realistic picture of the scene. She uses depth of colour to balance realism and abstract. The result she strives for is a painting from the heart
