Alison Trembath is the new owner of Dales Art Gallery, a contemporary art gallery in Victoria’s historic Chinatown at 537 Fisgard Street. After a couple months of restoration, Dales Gallery is back in business with a new focus: to provide BC artists with a unique venue to display their work in one of Victoria’s most historic neighborhoods. "In restoring Dales," says Alison, "my vision was to marry the historic past with some more modern elements to create a space that now spontaneously has artists doing happy dances when they walk in the door!"

“I think that since Fran Willis shut her gallery down, there is a real need for exhibition space in Victoria, for abstract, photographic and original artwork of all kinds. I hope to be able to continue her tradition of excellence in representing emerging and established artists.”

Dales will continue to provide its many loyal clients with expert framing services under the talented eye of local artist Stephanie Harding, who has been with Dales for more than six years. Her works are presently being shown at Dales Gallery.

Open Monday-Friday 10 am - 5 pm
and Saturday 11 am - 4 pm
